Stop treating your well-being as something you address only after everything else has been taken care of.

Because if you’re waiting until the work is done, the house is clean, everyone else is taken care of, the responsibilities are handled, and life finally slows down…
You will likely be waiting a very long time.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to prioritize everything and everyone else while putting our own well-being at the bottom of the list.
So…we instead push through exhaustion.
We ignore the tension.
We override what our bodies are telling us it needs.
We convince ourselves that taking time for ourselves is something we’ll do when we have time.
But here’s something worth considering…
Your well-being isn’t separate from your ability to show up for everything and everyone you care about. It’s part of what makes that possible, and is the differentiator between experiencing life as ”just getting by surviving”, and truly thriving!
You don’t have to reach the point of burnout before you give yourself permission to slow down.
You don’t have to be completely depleted before you deserve rest.
And you don’t have to earn the right to take care of yourself.
